Begins in Fear Falls in Chaos Rises in Pain. Nolan for Hollywood is the same as Batman for Gotham. I am a big fan of Batman Begins, but when watching The Dark Knight I was amazed at how well crafted it is, how the character evolve, the themes and emotions portrayed in the movie and the amazing performances. This is truly a masterpiece and one of the best crime saga's ever made. A perfect 10.
When watching The Dark Knight you get introduced to a dark and violent world filled with all types of emotions. The story get faster as the movie proceeds and soon you are lost in the world of Gotham City. The dark tone of the film fits the new antagonist "The Joker" perfectly (who is portrayed in a marvelous performance by Heath Ledger)and as the story moves on you start to understand all the character and their inner darkness. I cant really say much without spoiling it but everything in this film is done to perfection- the story, the style, the acting, the music and the technical aspects. Also the film has numerous mixed emotions as the story progresses that truly make you think and analyze the events, and many moments in the film can only be described as epic.
This is a must watch for anyone who enjoys movies as i can assure you you will be pleased and will want to watch it again.

Banes voice is badass. 3 years ago i was dreaming to watch the dark knight trilogy but never get the chances. 3 months ago i decided to watch all of them. It is one of the best decision i've made in my whole life. This Batman installment isn't a bad one it's just been completely overrated since the passing of Heath Ledger. Secondly there was way too much material to be packed into the three hours alloted. If anyone knows anything about the back story of Harvey Dent/Two Face they are just left feeling empty and the character itself unjustified. I understand Nolan was trying to do something different with the Joker, but why disrespect Two Face? Also, there was really no Batman/Bruce Wayne complex which I enjoy and feel is important to every Batman film. Overall a good action film, but will not be adding to my Batman movie collection. Hopefully Nolan brings back Two Face in the next film and gives him a face.

You know compared to the DCEU, you hear Batman's name being called more in The Dark Knight trilogy than you do in Batfleck's films. Is anyone here from Rulers of Europe Year by Year. Even just listen to this soundtrack, I still can remember all those scenes. This was the first movie that actually made me felt scared for the main character. I wasn't scared of Joker or Ra's but there was something about Bane in TDKR that was just too intimidating. He looked like he could hurt you very badly. They don't make comic book films like these anymore I just can't believe how incredible this series was, Nolan created a crime drama story about a dark legendary hero, this is how it would be like if batman catwoman & villains were real, I love Tim burtons Gothic fairytale batman films, Tim created a world where it's normal for people to fight crime in masks & costumes, his Gotham was New York gone bad in 100 years or the ghetto London England. For those people that don't know this trilogy gave the idea for the cw arrow series, other superhero/comic films will never beat this trilogy, these films & arrow season 1& 2 are like watching law & order in masks.

Unpopular view: the actors that played Maroni and Gambol are very underrated. I'm from Sydney, Australia. I have always been a big Batman fan. I had always planned to see this movie. I have to say this movie was a masterpiece! All the acting was great! Especially from Heath Ledger! The script was well written. It was very well directed. Action packed! The pacing was just fine. There wasn't too much talking and it never got boring.
The theater was packed as were the following hours. I wont give anything much away, but I will say that Scarecrow and even Two-Face were in this movie! And, yes, there are fight scenes with them in it. I give this movie a good 11/10.
This was Heath Ledger's last movie! It was a fantastic role by Ledger. His character and acting is very unforgettable. THE Oscar WILL BE YOURS IN 2009, LEDGER! May his soul R.I.P.
